You Probably Missed These Famous Faces on the Celebrity Apprentice Premiere
It was a blink and you missed it cameo but there were two very famous faces who appeared alongside the 14 celebrities on Sunday night’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2021.
During the first auction, where Michael “Wippa” Wipfli and Shayna Blaze’s teams went head-to-head, there were some special guests in the audience — former Bachelor Locky Gilbert and his partner Irena Srbinovska.
Now, you may be wondering why two Network Ten reality stars would even consider a Channel 9 cameo, but the reason is way more obvious than you would think.
Gilbert was there to support his former castmate and pal, Survivor: All Star’s winner, David Genat.
In fact, when Genat announced that he would be appearing on the show, Locky took to Instagram sharing a selfie of the pair.
“Good luck to this legend on Celebrity Apprentice Australia,” the Bachelor alum captioned the post.
It’s clear that the pair have quite the bromance — after all, they both reside in Western Australia — and after Genat took out the title of Sole Survivor back in March 2020, Gilbert shared a whole gallery of their time together on the show.
“Was an absolute pleasure playing with you man. I couldn’t think of a better player and person to win Survivor All-Stars. A true all-star in all our eyes. #survivorau #ALLSTARS #welldeserved,” he wrote. So cute!
Of course, another of Genat’s castmate’s has followed him to Celebrity Apprentice, with Boost Juice founder, Janine Allis, an advisor on the show.
In an interview with POPSUGAR Australia, she commented on what we can expect from him.
“David [Genat] — he just really did a great job at narrating the whole thing,” when asked about her co-star.
We love us some reality TV crossovers and reunions!
Celebrity Apprentice Australia will air on Channel Nine and 9Now from Sunday to Tuesday.
