Love Island Australia: Mitch Is Looking For Someone to Love Him Back

Love Island Australia is only days away, and we’re gearing up for love triangles, drama and spicy romance, all set at a stunning villa in Mallorca, Spain.

Love Island might not be known for its long-lasting relationships, but surely the Spanish backdrop will add some extra heat!?

Hosted by Sophie Monk, the reality series will be airing exclusively on Channel 9’s streaming platform, 9Now. They’ve been dropping tidbits about the upcoming season in the lead up — including who our Islanders will be this season.

One of the Islanders looking for lasting love this year is 25-year-old personal trainer, Mitchell Eliot.

Set to be this year’s resident Kiwi in the villa, Mitchell (Mitch) just recently moved to Sydney full time from Auckland.

He describes himself as a Kiwi prankster with a kind heart. Having been in one serious relationship with a girl who broke his heart, Mitch is finally ready to settle down again.

“I’m looking for a girl who doesn’t take life too seriously, someone who can take the piss,” he said in a press statement.

“Someone who can make me laugh. Brains and drive, most people want that but that doesn’t really matter to me, as long as I’m entertained and have fun.”

Into any girl who “generally looks like Megan Fox“, Mitch is looking to get his love life back on track, after a few tumultuous years.

“My relationship history has been pretty shocking,” he says. “I’ve been from one girl to the other.”

“I was in love with a girl for three or four years and she didn’t feel the same way. It was me being in love with her and she didn’t feel it. After that, I went through a player stage.

“Now I want to find love with someone that loves me back, that’s why I am here.”
