Here we go again! If you just couldn’t get enough of Love Island UK last year, then you’ll be pleased to know that the reality series is returning — because, of course it is.
It’s been a year since Millie and Liam took home the crown, and now, a new group of singles are ready to enter the villa to find love and hopefully, make some money.
Season 8 will be available to stream daily on 9Now from June 8, and will be fast-tracked from the UK. With the new season quickly approaching, we’ve been given an inside look at the 11 participants who are ready to find love.
With a £50,000 (AUD$90,000) prize on the line, and of course, the opportunity to find “the one”, things are set to get heated. Drama ensues, hearts tend to break and things get messy, but at the end of the day, it’s pure entertainment.
The odds of the relationship lasting after the show is over are not … great. Heck, the chances of it making it while in the villa aren’t too high either, but you know we’re going to watch it anyway.
Airing five nights a week, the show is definitely a commitment, but one you’re going to miss once it’s over. So if you want to pretend you’re laying by a pool in your bikini, far away from Australia’s harsh winter, then be sure to tune in to Love Island UK on June 8.
