On Sundays, we wear pink! During the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, Machine Gun Kelly proved that he can rock the hell out of a trendy pink suit with his bright Berluti outfit. The 30-year-old artist took home his first-ever VMA for best alternative for his song “Bloody Valentine,” and he did so in one seriously stylish outfit. The monochrome outfit featured pink trousers, a sleeveless turtleneck, and a matching blazer, which he draped over his shoulder while posing for pictures on the red carpet. MGK paired the bright look with Berluti loafers and a pearl necklace to tie it all together. He later changed into a royal blue one-piece while presenting the award for push best new artist.
While reflecting on the award later that night, he thanked his fans in a heartfelt post on Instagram. “Pretty much waited my entire life just to say: WE WON A F*CKING VMA!!!! ???? i was flying in to pick up my fathers ashes when i got the news that we were nominated, so it was bittersweet. then i found out that it was a fan voted award and from the first day y’all were like ‘we got this’ and you really did it. i’m honored to share this moment with you. thank you. thank you. what the f*cking f*ck. @vmas @mtv,” he wrote.
