MAFS’ 2023: Harrison and Adam go Head-to-Head during Boys Night

MAFS' Harrison and Adam

We all know by now that there’s never a dull moment on “Married At First Sight.” But the drama heated up to scorching new levels as the cast returned for Boys and Girls night. After completing the first stage of Feedback Week, the couples reunited to confront their issues head-on.

It saw past brides and grooms, such as Adam, Janelle, and Claire (talk about a cheating scandal) returning for one night only. Unfortunately, Jesse decided to opt out of the drama.

Over at Boys night, Adam, who previously cheated on ‘wife’ Janelle, made another attempt to apologise to the group. However, things quickly turned sour when Harrison confronted the groom about his lack of accountability for his actions. I chuckled while even typing that out. Harrison of all people… holding someone accountable for poor behaviour? It’s a laughable cause.

“What do you want from this conversation, Adam?” Harrison asked bluntly.

“I’m here to apologise so you guys know that I’m truly sorry about my actions for that night and there’s no ‘buts’ involved,” Adam responded.

Harrison, however, was not satisfied. He believed that Adam needed to take ownership of his actions and demonstrate a willingness to make things right.

“You’ve come in here tonight and you had an opportunity to own some behaviour and I feel like you just need to own what you did,” Harrison fumed.

The groom went further, pointing out that Adam had a history of avoiding accountability and putting the blame on others.

“What I see is a guy that’s willing to throw the boys under the bus to save himself. That’s what you always do Adam. You just throw people under the bus the save yourself,” Harrison said.

After getting an earful from Harrison, Adam turned the tables back on Harrison.

“Has someone got a mirror so I can hold it in front of Harrison’s face so he can talk to it? He needs to start owning some s**t,” Adam clapped back. “If Im gonna come in here and own my s**t, I feel like Harrison needs to own his s**t for once.”

The fiery exchange of words was in stark contrast to the Girls night, where the women literally toasted over being strong women, offering each other support and love.

“Married At First Sight” airs Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday — Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
