MAFS’ Dan Hunjas Sparks Speculation About New Relationship After Recent Breakup
“Married At First Sight” groom Dan Hunjas has been spotted with a new woman after his recent breakup from Samantha Symes.
The Gold Coast marketing tycoon was seen kissing Samantha just one day after his wedding aired on “MAFS”. Samantha was also a guest at their wedding. However, their relationship has come to an end after three months of dating.
Now, Dan has seemingly gone public with another woman, whom he has dated before. Instagram influencer Chloe Patterson posted a photo of herself with Dan, holding a bouquet of flowers.
“When you change your name to ‘The Ocean’ so he buys you flowers,” the caption on the photo read.
The groom’s love for the beach was a big talking point during his time on the show. He used it as a reason as to why he was not compatible with his ‘dental assistant TV-wife’, Sandy. Sandy couldn’t swim in the ocean due to allergies.
It’s Not the First Time the Pair Have Dated
Chloe and Dan had previously dated and, according to a direct message exchange, they met at the ocean.
The influencer also shared a screenshot of a direct message conversation in which a follower asked if she and Dan had met “at the ocean”.
“We actually did,” Chloe replied.
Although, after speculation began to spread online over the pair’s relationship, Chloe briefly claimed Dan was “just a friend” in an Instagram story.
Dan was married to Sandy during season 10 of “MAFS”. For the first few weeks, we watched the couple get along like a house on fire. But things soon spiralled.
Upon hearing about Dan’s antics at the boys’ night, where he showed pictures of his ex-girlfriends to the other husbands and compared Sandy to them, Sandy felt devastated. Dan openly admitted that he didn’t find his ‘wife’ sexually attractive. The pair both decided to leave the experiment.
“Married At First Sight” airs Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday — Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
