Maren Morris absolutely crushed it at the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards, which marked her first award show performance since giving birth just over five months ago in March. Backdropped by a beautiful stained glass set-up, the 30-year-old singer performed her rousing new single, “To Hell & Back,” off her 2019 album Girl. Morris also took home the award for female artist of the year.
At last year’s ACM Awards, Morris performed party anthem “All My Favorite People” with the Brothers Osborne. This year’s performers – which included Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Kane Brown – were able to take the stage safely because there was no live audience and their respective Nashville venues – the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium, and Bluebird Café – were empty.
Enjoy Morris’s stirring performance ahead.
