MasterChef Australia is about to kick off on Monday, April 18, and our Easter long weekend just got brighter. This year, the reality show contains a bit of a twist, with our former “favourites” competing alongside 12 fresh new faces.
From former winners Julie Goodwin and Sashi Cheliah to notable names such as Minoli De Silva and Tommy Pham — there’s plenty to look forward to this season.
When it comes to the new contestants, we can’t wait to see what they plate up and we’re certain they’ll give the favourites a run for their money. Returning to host and judge the delicious creations will be Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo and of course, a number of notable guest chefs will also be entering the kitchen.
There really is no better way to get to know the aspiring and current chefs than by stalking their social media pages, specifically their Instagram. As creepy as it may sound, you’re able to understand them on a personal level and who doesn’t want to do that before the show premieres?
