Look Who’s Back for MasterChef’s Second Chance Week
Can you believe we’ve already seen ten MasterChef Australia 2021 contestants eliminated from the series?
For viewers and cast alike — watching contestants being chopped from the competition is like seeing a member of the family being asked to leave the group. However, in exciting news, starting from Monday, May 31, all 11 cooks (including Sunday’s Tom Levick) will be back in the famed MasterChef kitchen.
“You guys will be cooking for one of two places back in this competition,” judge Melissa Leong said in a clip released by Network Ten.
So far, fan favourites including Conor Curran, Therese Lum, Yoyo Yang, Jess Hodge and Minoli DeSilva have all left.
“To have left the way it did, it broke my heart,” Conor said in the video.
“I’m going to fight harder than I fought for anything,” Minoli added, while Therese said: “I definitely have unfinished business.”
There’s no doubt the ten have been biding their time before their second chance and it looks as though they’ve been skilling up in the meantime.
“When you cook like that, it’s a wonder how you ever left!” Leong says.
So, which two faves will come back? Here’s a list of the eliminated contestants to jog your memory.
