Nine Just Announced a Bunch of New Shows and We Can’t Wait to Get Into It
2022 is shaping up to be a great year, and with Nine having announced all of the new shows we can expect from the network over the next 12 months, we can hardly wait!
We’re already looking forward to shows like Love Island hitting our screens, but there’s so much more set to air.
Still to Come in 2021
Love Island Australia
After a year off, Love Island Australia is making a comeback. Filmed in Byron Bay and hosted by Sophie Monk, the show will follow a group of singles on their journey to find love. Of course, every relationship has its set of obstacles, so we’re expecting a whole lot of drama.
Snackmasters
Now, THIS is a show I can get behind. MasterChef’s Poh Ling Yeow will be teaming up with Scott Pickett to host Snackmasters — a cooking reality show where chefs go head-to-head with one another to perfectly replicate famous Aussie snacks.
Featuring food such as Twisties, Drumsticks, Whoppers and Cadbury Favourites, it’s pretty safe to say that this show should not be watched on an empty stomach.
Lego Master Christmas
If you couldn’t get enough of Lego Masters then there’s some great news. The show will be returning for a Christmas Special and this time, the contestants are a bunch of Aussie celebs.
Featuring household names such as Scott Cam, Sophie Monk, Brooke Boney and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli, the wholesome show will be sure to put you in the festive spirit.
Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze
You know her from The Block and Celebrity Apprentice, now, Shaynna Blaze is returning with her very own show.
Follow Shaynna and her family on their journey to restore a dilapidated historical home in regional Victoria.
We already know it’s going to be the transformation of a lifetime.
New in 2022
Underbelly: Vanishing Act
Yes, you’re reading correctly. Underbelly is making a comeback, and this time, it will focus on the bizarre disappearance of Melissa Caddick, who strangely vanished after allegedly embezzling over $40 million.
Buying Byron
Fan of Selling Sunset? Then this show is for you. The property reality show will be set in … you guessed it, Byron Bay, and will give you an inside look into the lives of Australia’s most elite.
