Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell Welcome Third Child Together, His 10th Overall

Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell have welcomed another baby into their ever-growing family. In a Sept. 30 Instagram post, Cannon announced the birth of the pair’s third child together, a boy named Rise Messiah Cannon.

“Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable. But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life,” Cannon wrote alongside a video compilation of memories from Bell’s baby shower, going on to praise her for her how much she’s taught him about “parenting, psychology, spirituality, love and just life in general.”

He continued, “As you can see in the video, a bunch of powerful prayer warriors interceding for our new child’s entrance to Earth! And boy did we need it! Probably the most difficult labor and delivery I have ever witnessed! 48 hours of excruciating pain and life risking danger to welcome 10 pounds of Love and joy named RISE MESSIAH CANNON.❤️?? Thank you Brittany for my fellow little Libra! I love you and our Incredible Family!”

Cannon announced that he was expecting a third child with Bell in an Instagram Reel on Aug. 24 that featured Bell, draped in a flowing white cloth, showing off her baby bump. Cannon wrote in the caption, “Time Stopped and This Happened. . .” He added the hashtags #Sunshine and #SonRISE, indicating that the child might be a boy.

Rise joins Bell and Cannon’s other two children, Powerful and Golden, and he’s Cannon’s 10th child in total. In July, Cannon welcomed a baby boy named Legendary, his first with Bre Tiesi. Then, in mid-September, he welcomed his ninth child (and his first with Lanisha Cole), Onyx Ice Cole Cannon. He also shares twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa (De La Rosa is currently pregnant with her third child), and twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex Mariah Carey. His son Zen, his only child with Alyssa Scott, died from a brain tumour in 2021.

The entertainer hinted at his recent influx of children in an interview on the podcast “Lip Service” in June, saying, “When you say ‘on the way . . .’ What count are you at? Let’s just put it this way . . . the stork is on the way.”
