Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are officially married!
The former Miss Universe and the San Francisco 49ers running back exchanged vows in a quiet yet stunning ceremony in Rhode Island over the weekend. Their choice of venue — a chapel in the coastal neighbourhood of Watch Hill — was a nod to McCaffrey’s desire for a traditional church wedding, Culpo shared with Vogue.
For her big day, Culpo rocked a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown that was all about timeless elegance.
“I wanted something that felt as serious as that commitment”, she said about her choice, describing the dress as a long-sleeved crepe masterpiece with a crew neck, a full skirt, and a stunning lace veil that stretched nearly five metres.

“I didn’t want it to be overly sexy,” Culpo explained, opting for a natural look with minimal makeup. “It was about… letting the dress speak for itself.”
She added: “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”
The process of designing the gown was straightforward. The first sketch from the Dolce & Gabbana atelier was nearly identical to the final product. “It was exactly the same as the original sketch,” Culpo said, adding, “This is the first, last and only wedding dress I tried on.”

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s Relationship Timeline
Culpo and McCaffrey, who first sparked dating rumours in May 2019, announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post in April 2023. They shared photos from the romantic proposal during a getaway in Utah, including the moment McCaffrey got down on one knee. Another picture showcased Culpo’s stunning ring, featuring a large oval diamond and epaulette side stones.
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but apparently word travels fast,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I’m marrying my best friend, I love you so much, fiancé.”
