Another royal baby has arrived! Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have welcomed a daughter, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
While we don’t know her name just yet, the little girl was born on Saturday at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, weighed 2.78kg.
The Princess, who is 10th in line to the British throne is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York.
This is her first child with Edoardo, who has a son from a previous relationship.
“The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news,” Buckingham Palace said.
“The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf.”
The 33-year-old shared her joyous news on Twitter, thanking the healthcare staff for their hard work.
The newborn is Queen Elizabeth’s 12th great-grandchild.
The couple tied the knot last year in July at Windsor Castle, where Beatrice repurposed one of the Queen’s vintage dresses into a bridal gown.
Her sister, Eugenie, also gave birth earlier this year in February with her husband Jack Brooksbank, to a boy named August.
