RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under will be returning to our screens in 2022, and we cannot wait.
The queen of all queens RuPaul will be returning as host and if that’s not enough to get you jumping up and down, then this definitely will: You can apply to compete in the upcoming season right now.
Promising plenty of high fashion realness and of course the ever-so-important lip-sync battles, season two is going to be as fabulous as ever.
“I am thrilled to produce and host a brand new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. We’ve only just begun to shine a worldwide spotlight on the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of Australasian queens,” RuPaul said in a statement.
In the previous season, we saw some of the contestants reveal their deepest secrets in the workroom while also occasionally showing off their shady side.
We’re almost certain the next instalment will be as epic as the first, and will most likely feature some surprising celebrity cameos.
Last season, we saw Taika Waititi and Kylie Minogue make an appearance on the show as guest judge.
Kita Mean from New Zealand was crowned the series’ inaugural winner but whoever ends up following in her perfectly pedicured footsteps is yet to be seen.
