SAS Australia is gearing up for its return, with the first episode airing on Monday, September 13.
And one of the celebrities this season is someone many will be quite familiar with.
This isn’t the first reality show he’s starred in, with Manu Feildel being known for his stint on My Kitchen Rules as a judge.
Although, the roles have been switched this time around, with Manu facing his fears as a contestant on SAS Australia.
In the latest trailer for the show, the celebrity chef is pushed beyond his limits, and despite working in a high-pressure environment as a chef, the challenges he’s faced left him in tears.
“I’ve been a chef for 35 years and it’s very similar to the army,” he said.
“Running kitchens is a stressful environment.”
The father-of-two admits to being afraid of heights as we see him hanging from a chopper.
“I do believe that I’ve got what it takes to succeed,” he says.
“I want to prove to my kids anything’s possible.”
Manu is one of 18 celebrities who will face a number of gruelling tests from the real SAS selection process.
Ex-special forces soldiers, Ant Middleton, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and Ollie Ollerton will return to the show, interrogating and pushing the celebrities to their absolute limit.
SAS Australia will premiere on Monday, September 13 on Channel 7 and 7plus.
