Selena Gomez and Francia Raísa Squash Feud Rumors During Night Out: “No Beef, Just Salsa”

Selena Gomez and Francia Raísa are so over those feud rumors. On Aug. 11, Gomez shared a photo of her and Raísa’s matching leopard print shoes on her Instagram Story ahead of a night out they spent with their friends. Raísa re-shared the photo to her own Story alongside a caption acknowledging the persistent rumors of a feud between her and the “Only Murders in the Building” star.

“No beef just salsa,” Raísa captioned the shoe photo. She also added that their twinning situation was a total accident. “This was not planned,” she wrote.

Gomez shared a few additional photos from the night, including one that showed off her black dress, and another of her sitting at a table at what appeared to be the Los Angeles restaurant Giorgio Baldi. The actor’s close friend Theresa Marie Mingus was also at the dinner, and she shared a photo of Raísa sitting at a table with the Giorgio Baldi sign behind her, as well.

In 2022, rumors circulated that Raísa and Gomez had a falling out, but in recent weeks the two have shown their friendship is still going strong. Prior to their twinning moment, Gomez wished the “How I Met Your Father” actor a happy birthday on Instagram on July 26. “Happiest of birthdays to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you,” she captioned a carousel of photos featuring her pal.

Raísa responded by liking the photo and re-following Gomez on Instagram. The two friends were rumored to have a falling out after Gomez said Taylor Swift was her only friend in the industry during a 2022 interview with Rolling Stone. However, just a few months later in March, she went on to call Raísa, who donated a kidney to the singer, her “best friend” in an episode of Apple TV+’s “Dear…” series.

At the time, Gomez said, “I will never ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia. The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming. I know I was so, so, so lucky. I understand that that doesn’t happen for a lot of people, and I know the outcome of some of those situations and how serious they are, so I do not take it lightly that it’s happened to me that way.”
