And Just Like That…They’re All Grown Up! Introducing the Kids of Sex and the City
Dust off your Manolo’s because Carrie Bradshaw is back in town!
A Sex and the City reboot is in the works, titled And Just Like That …, and fans will be delighted to know that many of the show’s original cast will be making a return.
But while Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth are faces we’ve become accustomed to, it’s time to shed light on a few new faces — namely, the actor and actresses who will play the offspring of the main cast.
Yes, you heard right. HBO Max has announced who will be playing Charlotte and Miranda’s children.
So, without further ado, here they are.
Cathy Ang as Lily Goldenblatt
25-year-old Cathy Ang will play Charlotte’s daughter Lily Goldenblatt.
Cath has previously starred in Over the Moon, an Oscar-nominated animated film.
Throughout the show, Charlotte struggled with her fertility and made the decision of adopting a baby girl from China with her lawyer husband Harry.
In the new adaptation, Lily is all grown up.
Niall Cunningham as Brady
Miranda’s only child and the eldest of the three will be played by 26-year-old Niall Cunningham.
Sporting his signature red hair, Brady was shown to be a genius in the original series, clearly inheriting his brains from his mum.
Niall has previously starred in Life in Pieces and Awkward.
Alexa Swinton as Rose Goldenblatt
Charlotte’s youngest and biological daughter Rose, who she shares with Harry, will be played by Alexa Swinton.
The 12-year-old up and coming actress has previously starred in the TV series Billions and M. Night Shyamalan’s movie Old.
