About as silly as it gets, this thriller might be high on ridiculousness, but if you’re looking for a sexy movie to watch, Wild Things is a sure bet. When a popular high school teacher is accused of assaulting a student, a tangled web of lies develops, leaving you guessing as to who is telling the truth until the very end. Set in steamy Florida, the film makes good use of its setting to set the sultry mood.

Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

One of the most talked-about films of the ‘90s, and one of the most polarising, there is no denying that Eyes Wide Shut is one of the most erotic films ever made. From the mind of Stanley Kubrick, the film follows a married couple (played by then-married stars Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise) as they descend into jealousy and sexual obsession. The most infamous scene? A masked orgy. There’s a lot going on in this film, so while it’s definitely worth noting as a sexy film, it may not be a date night choice.

It has a similar energy to Fifty Shades of Grey, but definitely features some questionable themes.
