Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are engaged! The couple announced their exciting news on Tuesday, sharing photos of the engagement. “THE EASIEST YES,” the 24-year-old Olympian wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”
Owens also shared their photos on his Instagram, writing in a caption, “Woke up this morning with a fiancée ?❤️.” He also revealed Biles “really had no clue what was coming,” thanking his friends for helping him set up the surprise. The gymnast and the 26-year-old Houston Texans player first confirmed dating rumours in August 2020 on Instagram, and since then, they’ve been each other’s biggest fans. The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in August 2021.
