Sophie Monk Returns to “Love Island Australia”
Sophie Monk is no stranger to the spotlight. With a career spanning nearly 25 years, she’s a true entertainment icon. Her journey began with the band Bardot, formed through the reality show “Popstars”. The band’s debut single, “Poison” and self-titled album both skyrocketed to No.1 on the ARIA charts.
After conquering the music scene, Sophie ventured to Los Angeles, where she graced the silver screen in cult classics like “Date Movie”, “Click”, and “Spring Breakdown”. But her heart remained in Australia.
Upon her return, she transitioned into television, where she quickly became a household name. She won “Celebrity Apprentice Australia” in 2015 and appeared as a judge on “Australia’s Got Talent”. Sophie even embarked on her quest for love as “The Bachelorette” in 2017.
Sophie is not only the host of “Love Island Australia”; she’s also a regular on “The Hundred with Andy Lee” and has made memorable appearances on “Lego Masters”. In 2022, she married Joshua Gross in a heartwarming and intimate ceremony, marking a new chapter in her life.
Sophie continues to be a radiant and cherished personality in Australian showbiz, and we can’t wait to see her work her magic in the Villa once again!
“Love Island Australia” 2023 premieres Monday October 30 on Channel 9 and 9Now. Episodes will drop at 6.00pm AEDT every Monday to Thursday.
