The Best Twitter Reactions to THAT 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Performance

One of the biggest sporting events of the year has wrapped up, but when it comes to the Super Bowl, it’s not the game that I’m interested in (sorry NFL fans!), it’s the halftime show. Specifically, the 2022 halftime show featuring some of hip hop’s biggest names: Dr Dre, Eminem, Mary J Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.

As a ’90s kid, I grew up listening to these formidable artists, even though, let’s face it, I probably shouldn’t have been. Ever since the full performance dropped on YouTube, I’ve been watching it on repeat. From Tupac’s California Love to Eminem’s Lose Yourself, the show had one certified banger after another.

Dr Dre and Mary J Blige seriously delivered which surprised no one. 50 Cent rapped In Da Club while hanging upside down from a ceiling — something we’ve never attempted before, but we’re sure it wasn’t easy.

Kendrick Lamar blew it out of the park with his song m.A.A.d city followed by Alright. And Eminem made the crowd go wild with simply his presence.

The rapper also made headlines after taking the knee on stage, despite being allegedly told not to by the NFL. The symbolic gesture condemns the unfair treatment of Black Americans and is done by those who support the Black Lives Matter movement.

But we weren’t the only ones left with goosebumps after the Super Bowl halftime performance, as Twitter went into overdrive with people either saying how great the show was, or making memes out of it.

So let’s get into the best tweets from the Super Bowl 2022.

Till next year! But in saying that, this performance will definitely be tough to follow.
