You know it’s Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour when a mishap or two adds to the charm. Dubbed the “Errors Tour” by the singer herself, it’s all part of the fun. During her June 30 performance in Dublin, Taylor Swift once again showed she isn’t fazed by a little malfunction. As she started singing “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” during the Tortured Poets Department act, the riser she was standing on malfunctioned, leaving her stuck above the stage for a moment.

The incident could have derailed the performance, but Swift’s quick thinking and calm demeanour turned it into a memorable moment. As Swift continued singing the heartbreaking song from The Tortured Poets Department album, dancer Jan Ravnik wasted no time coming to her aid and helping to carry her back down to the stage. Swift appeared unbothered by the snafu, flashing a big smile as she went on with the performance.

This is hardly the first time Swift has had to think on her feet mid-show. The star has hilariously embraced a number of unplanned moments over the last year.

The I Can Do It With a Broken Heart singer shared a picture of the lovely note and bouquet of flowers from the band on her social media. On her Instagram Story, Swift noted that she was “already feeling that Irish hospitality” and thanked the legendary rock band “for always being the classiest & coolest”.

The note read, “Dear Taylor, Welcome back to our hometown… leave some of it standing?!!!! Your Irish fan club.” It was signed by frontman Bono, guitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton, and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.

Taylor Swift Reacts to Travis Kelce’s Surprise Visit

Adding to the excitement, Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, made an appearance during Sunday’s show. Fans speculated that his visit may have been a surprise to Swift herself. In fan-shared footage on social media, the singer lights up as she notices Kelce in the VIP tent.

Kelce’s appearance in Dublin followed his on-stage debut in London, where he joined Swift’s dancers for a playful segment before her performance of I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
