When asked where she sees herself 10 years from now, Tamlyn responded: “With the bachelor.”
The 25-year-old customer service officer is confident and knows how to have a good time.
Originally from South Africa, Tamlyn moved Down Under when she was only 12 years old, saying the relocation was hard to come to terms with at such a young age.
“The biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome in my life was moving from South Africa to Australia,” she told Ten. “At the age of 12 you think your whole world revolves around your friends, and I felt like my whole life was being turned upside down.”
Speaking to POPSUGAR Australia, Tamlyn said she doesn’t want people to take her too seriously, as she has good intentions that may not translate well on screen.
“I am a very sarcastic person and have a very dark sense of humour…but I am almost always joking and I’m a nice person, I promise,” she said.
She applied for The Bachelor on a whim one day, saying it was a “spur of the moment decision” as she was wanting someone to settle down with.
Will that person be Jimmy? Guess we’re going to find out.
