The Bachelor Australia Will Be 2 Hours Long Tonight — Here’s Why
If you’re a Bachie fan, listen up, because tonight’s episode will be slightly different than usual.
NewsCorp reported that due to poor ratings, The Bachelor will be airing two episodes back-to-back, which means instead of one hour of Jimmy and the gals, we get two.
“Yes, Thursday 12th August and Wednesday 18th August are both double episodes,” a spokeswoman for Network 10 told mediaweek.
The premiere episode of season nine received a lacklustre 482,000 viewers, which is a huge drop from last year’s 681,000.
Rumour has it, Channel 10 is upping the production budget for next year in the hopes to score a famous face to be the Bachie.
In tonight’s episode, Jimmy will take Carlie and Laura on a single date, and a frontrunner will be heading home.
Last night, Tatum left Jimmy blindsided after revealing she did not want to take part in the competition anymore.
She, along with Stevie who failed to receive a rose, ended up going home.
