Everything We Know About 2021 Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson (And Importantly, His Insta Handle)
It’s nearly Bachelor season, and we simply could not be more excited! We’ve missed the extravagant dates, the rose ceremonies, the drama, the romance!
As the show inches closer and closer, Channel 10 is giving us bits and pieces to help us put together a picture of exactly who our Jimmy Nicholson, our new Bachie, is.
Unlike last year’s Bachelor and Australian Survivor alum Locky Gilbert, this is Jimmy’s first dip into the pool of reality TV.
Yesterday, Channel 10 posted the first teaser for the new series, a real “Love is In the Air” mood.
If you couldn’t guess from the theme, Jimmy is an airline pilot.
The teaser shows Jimmy strolling through an airport as a bunch of Love, Actually style airport reunions happen all around him. Couples hugging, couples smooching, couples running into each other’s warm embrace, this trailer’s got it all.
Meanwhile, our Bachelor is smiling to himself, happy for all the love he is surrounded by, but perhaps a little lonely. One can only presume that he has everything he could want in life, except for a special someone to share it with. Sigh!
Enter Osher, who hands Jimmy a big-ass bouquet of flowers as Jimmy boards the plane, ready for his love adventure to take flight.
Jimmy’s Instagram has just been made public again, so we did a deep dive to tell you everything we know about our new Bachie so far, like:
He’s been exploring our Australian backyard:
He enjoys surfing:
He likes dogs:
He likes a day on a boat:
He’s an uncle! A family man!
He was “very excited” about becoming an uncle:
He likes mountain-climbing. Look at him being a lowkey (maybe highkey?) Free Solo:
He likes to travel (this is perhaps unsurprising, given that he’s a pilot, but still!)
He “can’t just sit at home all the time”. Mood!
He enjoys meeting new people:
He enjoys playing football:
He likes dogs, the sequel (it bears repeating, okay?!):
He knows how to steer a ship (or look like it, at least):
He enjoys Christmas traditions with his family:
He’s been to Thailand!
And Croatia!
And Greece!
He enjoys taking a refreshing dip in the pool:
He has a great #quokkaselfie, which is honestly important. He likes animals!
He likes cycling! Talk about an active guy, he’s a real sporty spice!
164 weeks ago, he found a waterfall. Love that for him!
And finally, he likes dogs. Look, that’s just really important, okay?
The Bachelor Australia will premiere soon on 10 and 10 Play.
