Alongside the extravagant dates, most people look forward to watching the drama unfold during the cocktail party on The Bachelorette. And after watching the latest teaser for the show, it’s pretty safe to assume that things get a bit messy in the mansion.
It’s an unspoken rule: “No kissing at the cocktail party” but it seems one contestant pays no mind to expectations as she kisses Brooke on the very first night.
It’s never happened before during the history of the franchise, and the daring move left contestants reeling as they watched it all unfold.
“Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do,” said the unnamed woman who is vying for Brooke’s love. And it proved to be a great decision because she left the 26-year-old blushing.
“Yeah it was pretty hot,” said a flushed Brooke.
The upcoming season of The Bachelorette is full of firsts, and we can add the cocktail party revelation to the list.
Brooke is the very first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette, and in a move that has never been done before, the contestants entering the mansion this year are a mix of men and women.
The news was welcomed by fans of the show and marks a huge win for the Indigenous and LGBTQI+ community.
The latest season will premiere on October 20, with Channel 10 slowly introducing us to each of the contestants before we see them on screen.
So far, we’ve met a “Persian Prince”, a carpenter, a dancer and a former Bachelor contestant.
This will be Brooke’s third attempt at finding love through the show, previously appearing on Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor and then later on Bachelor In Paradise.
