It’s been a big week for the Blockheads, from meeting Delta Goodrem to taking part in the lip-syncing challenge, the crew have definitely been busy.
Gearing up for the big kitchen reveal, the contestants all worked hard to make sure the project was finished on time.
While some received stellar comments from the judges, others faced harsh critiques. But in the end, one couple came out on top, securing their first-ever win.

Ronnie and Georgia
Spending $39,396, Ronnie and Georgia managed to impress all three judges. According to Darren, the cooking zone was perfect but Shaynna said she would have preferred if the kitchen island was slightly bigger.
The butler’s pantry didn’t wow them but overall, they enjoyed the space.

Mitch and Mark
The couple spent $33,758, and while the judges loved the kitchen at first glance, they did find a huge problem with the space: There was no pantry. Mitch and Mark chose to go with drawers instead, but the judges believe a home in Hampton should feature a pantry.

Tanya and Vito
Tanya and Vito took a major risk, importing the terrazzo bench top from New York. But thankfully, it paid off. The judges loved it but they did have an issue with the functionality and the layout. On the other hand, the butler’s pantry was very well received. In total, they spent $27,083.

Josh and Luke
The kitchen the twins cooked up was sophisticated, with the judges loving the Christian Cole benchtop. But there were a few functionality issues in the butler’s pantry, and there was no dishwasher. They spent $33,024.

Kirsty and Jesse
Kirsty and Jesse spent the most amount of money at $49,805. Their kitchen was beautifully done and the judges loved the Kinsman draws and layout. The island bench was expansive and functional. There was also a big bin.
In the end, Kirsty and Jesse won their very first challenge, one that they were thrilled about.
