Unmasking The Celebs Rumoured to Appear on The Masked Singer 2021
The Masked Singer will look drastically different this year due to stay-at-home orders currently being enforced throughout NSW.
Unlike previous seasons, there will be no live studio audience, instead, the show has recruited people to virtually tune in.
Channel 10 recently released the first look at some of the characters appearing on the show, and it’s safe to say, the costume department has been working hard behind the scenes.
But as we patiently wait for the premiere date to be announced, we can’t help but speculate which celebs will be competing this year.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Dave Hughes said that there will be “more international stars on the show this year.”
While nothing has been confirmed, there are plenty of rumours circulating on who these international celebs could be.
Let’s see the stars who are expected to make an appearance.
Charlotte Grosby
The Geordie Shore star has been spotted in hotel quarantine, and after sharing a clip of herself belting out Adele’s Rolling In The Deep on her Instagram Stories, we won’t be surprised if she shows off her singing skills on The Masked Singer.
However, Charlotte has quashed whispers of her being on the show, saying “I went to Australia just to quarantine and then came home,” Charlotte said on Instagram. “I went to Australia for work which got cancelled because Sydney went into lockdown so I had to come home.”
Cheyenne Tozzi
She’s best known for her impressive modelling portfolio, but it seems Cheyenne Tozzi may be dipping her hands into singing after she was spotted driving out of Carriageworks during the filming of the show.
She has previously shared little tidbits of her singing on her Instagram account, so we know she can definitely hold a tune.
Abbie Chatfield
The Bachelor isn’t the only reality show Abbie Chatfield has appeared on. The TV veteran won I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if she decided to participate in The Masked Singer.
Abbie recently revealed to her Instagram followers that she’s moved to Sydney, and shared some videos of herself lip-syncing.
“Rehearsal for our karaoke debut must go on, even in lockdown,” she captioned a post “Any tips from choreographers appreciated. Let’s make this a performance you can’t forget!!!!!!”
Michael Wipfli
You’re probably familiar with his voice after hearing him on the radio, and now, fans believe the deep voice of the Piñata sounds exactly like Wippa.
“I don’t know why there was a link being made to me being a Piñata… but I can’t talk about it,” he said on air.
The Masked Singer is set to premiere soon on Channel 10 and 10play.
