Meet Annikki: The Dancer and Artist Tackling “The Summit” 2023
Are you ready for an adventure? “The Summit” is just around the corner and we are counting down the days until this competition unfolds. Hosted by Aussie movie star Jai Courtney, this exciting new show follows 14 strangers from all walks of life. They will attempt to climb one of New Zealand’s highest peaks to win a share of one million dollars.
But climbing a mountain isn’t an easy feat. The contestants will have to push themselves to their limits to make it to the summit within 14 days. Along the way, they’ll face challenges that will test their physical and mental endurance, from jaw-dropping gorges to raging waterfalls.
In a race against time, not everyone will make it to the finish line, and it’s up to them to decide who to cut off as they race toward the Summit. With strategic gameplay and teamwork being crucial to success, the show promises to be an exhilarating adventure that viewers won’t want to miss.
So, without further ado, let’s meet some of the contestants who will be taking on this epic challenge.
Annikki Takes on “The Summit” 2023
Annikki, who is originally from Darwin and now based in Brisbane, is no stranger to challenging herself in the world of dance and art. As a specialist in the male-dominated dance style Krump, Annikki is no stranger to confronting challenges head-on, which is sure to serve her well on “The Summit.”
While used to the warm weather and swimming, Annikki is excited to tackle the snow and cold of New Zealand in pursuit of the one million dollar prize. She admits that the highest peak she has ever been on is a ride at Movie World, making this an entirely new experience for her.
Annikki’s biggest inspiration for reaching the summit is her mother. She hopes to give back to her family if she wins, stating that the money would be life-changing for her career and a way to thank her mother for always working hard for her.
“The Summit” premieres on Sunday, May 14th, at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
