Someone pass the tissues because we can’t stop tearing up. Over the weekend, Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late Paul Walker shared photos and videos of her wedding to Louis Thornton-Allan after a two-month engagement.
“We’re married,” the 22-year-old captioned the post. According to Vogue, the intimate ceremony took place “earlier this month” but an exact date is unknown. But the moment that truly pulled at the heartstrings was when Meadow’s godfather and Paul’s Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel walked her down the aisle, a role that is usually reserved for the father of the bride.
“The pandemic impacted our plans,” Meadow told Vogue while discussing the ceremony’s intimate guest list. “Louis’s family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions.”
The model wore a stunning custom-made Givenchy Haute Couture dress and wore a mini frock to the New York City celebration that took place later on. Meadow confirmed her engagement back in August, showing off her dazzling diamond ring on Instagram.
Paul Walker tragically passed in a car crash in November 2013, when Meadow was just 15 years old. Vin was known to be incredibly close to the late actor and has acted as a support system for his daughter.
But the 54-year-old wasn’t the only Fast & Furious star to attend the nuptials, with actress Jordan Brewster, Walker’s on-screen love interest, also present.
