The tragic conclusion to “Avengers: Endgame” may have left viewers with an Arc-Reactor-size hole in their chests, but there’s always a silver lining. Even though it felt like our heroes’ journey ended with the defeat of Thanos, Marvel still had plenty more stories to tell. We’re about halfway through Marvel’s Phase Four, with five more movies set for release in the next two years.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige spoke to Total Film earlier this month about this era of the MCU. He said, “I think there have been many clues already that are at least apparent to me of where this whole saga is going. But we’ll be a little more direct about that in the coming months, to set a plan, so audiences who want to see the bigger picture can see a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more of the roadmap.” Does that mean we should except an Avengers-style team-up sometime soon? Fans will have to wait and see.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” marked the end of Phase Three in 2019, and there have already been so many exciting adventures in the post-Tony Stark MCU. These are all the movies that make up Marvel Phase Four, including the upcoming “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “The Marvels.”

"Black Widow"
The stand-alone film about Black Widow takes place before the first Avengers movie. We see some of the spy-turned-heroine’s origin story and meet her sister Yelena (Florence Pugh).

"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings"
Marvel first acquired back the rights to “Shang-Chi” from Paramount Pictures in 2005, but they didn’t start working on an adaptation until 2018. Simu Liu stars as the new hero in the movie alongside Awkwafina, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, and Ronny Chieng.

"Eternals"
Another cosmic superhero team join the Marvel roster with “Eternals.” Based on Jack Kirby’s comics, the film focuses on a cosmic group called the Celestials, which created two super-powered beings called the Eternals and the Deviants. The film stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, and Bryan Tyree Henry.

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"
Details about the long-awaited “Black Panther” sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” are a little vague, but we know Letitia Wright will be back as T’Challa’s sister Shuri, and that she’ll have a larger role in the sequel. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said of making the sequel without the late Chadwick Boseman, “It’s clearly very emotional without Chad. But everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud.”

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"
The journey to “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” has been a long and dark one, but it’s still on its way. While the project was previously on hold after the firing of director James Gunn, his eventual rehiring put the project back on track. The film was pushed back until Gunn finished his work on the “Suicide Squad” sequel, but we know a few things about the new movie. Will Poulter will appear as Adam Warlock, a powerful artificial intelligence intent on hunting down the Guardians.

"The Marvels"
A sequel to 2018’s “Captain Marvel” was officially confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. The movie, directed by Nia DaCosta and called “The Marvels,” won’t just focus on Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, but also on Teyonah Parris’s Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan. It should be one iconic team-up.
