The Bachelor and Bachelorette mansion has become as iconic as the show itself. Featuring on every episode, the stunning garden and light display manages to catch our eye every single time.
In 2021, Channel 10 decided to change things up, swapping the original Hamptons style property in Oxford Falls in Sydney’s Northern Beaches to a new location.
The switch-up was first shown on Jimmy Nicholson’s season of The Bachelor, and now, those vying for Brooke Blurton’s love on The Bachelorette will also be sipping cocktails inside the grand home.
The beautiful french-style abode is located in Dural, NSW, about 36 kilometres north-west of Sydney CBD.
The country home features five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an indoor pool, spa, gym and tennis courts, so contestants can rest assured that they will always remain busy.
The grand home has been a favourite for television producers, previously being used for past seasons of Beauty and the Geek. Speaking to The Latch earlier this year, the team at Ten said: “The last mansion had a Hamptons vibe and was one storey, it was great for something different. This new mansion has more of what our Bachelor family has come to expect, large grounds, lots of rooms, beautiful outdoor spaces and of course a big fountain.”
Brooke, who was previously a contestant on Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor, will also be stepping into the property for the first time, as the one she stayed in during her time on the show was the place in Oxford Falls.
The 26-year-old is the first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette, and in a move that has never been done before, the contestants will be a mix of men and women.
This will be Brooke’s third try at finding love, after appearing on not only The Bachelor but also Bachelor In Paradise.
The Bachelorette premieres on October 20 on Channel 10 and 10play.
