But this time, drama unfolds as Jimmy sends a contestant home.
Ashleigh, who won the group date earlier in the episode, was sent packing as Jimmy revealed he can only see them as “being really good friends”.
Prior to him having a frank conversation with her, Jimmy and Ashleigh had a single date where Ashleigh revealed she would like to have kids before the age of 30.
Jimmy, on the other hand, wanted to wait a few years before making that commitment, leaving Ashleigh confused as to how she feels about him.
At the cocktail party, it was revealed Ashleigh walked away without a rose or a kiss, a first for this season.
Conflicted about his feelings, Jimmy knew he had to speak to her as he refused to lead her on knowing there was no spark.
Surprisingly, Ashleigh took the news well, as she wished him the best of luck on his journey to find love, and bid goodbye to The Bachelor mansion.
The remaining contestants were left shocked, as Osher admitted to the events that transpired. Lily, who was good friends with Ashleigh throughout the show was visibly upset, as she was not able to say goodbye.
But despite feeling down about sending Ashleigh home, Jimmy stated he had to be true to himself and be honest about his emotions towards the girls.
