A Look at Maluma’s Dating History, From Anitta to Current Girlfriend Susana Gomez

Dating speculation surrounded Maluma and Anitta for years before one of them actually addressed the nature of their relationship. Maluma was featured on Anitta’s 2016 single “Sim ou Não,” and the pair kissed on stage during a concert in Brazil in May 2017, per the Daily Mail. They released another collaboration in 2022 called “El Que Espera,” which had a steamy music video featuring some hot makeout sessions between the two. But according to Anitta, the two got intimate well before then.

Per People, when Brazilian comedian Maurício Meirelles asked Anitta how Maluma was in bed, the singer’s answer in her interview translated to “very good.” Then, during a 2022 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” host Cohen asked Anitta to confirm whether the two ever got together, to which she said, “Oh, yeah, well obviously.”

Maluma and Cuban-Croatian model Natalia Barulich met while filming the music video for Maluma’s 2017 hit “Felices los 4.” In the visual, Barulich plays Maluma’s love interest, and their onscreen chemistry is undeniable.

Following the release of the video, rumors that the pair were dating immediately sparked, but they mainly kept their relationship under the radar until the following year. In January 2018, Maluma confirmed their relationship in an interview with Al Rojo Vivo (via El Tiempo). The singer spoke of their connection, saying, “At this moment we are dating. I like what we are experiencing, I like her company, she supports me and loves me.” He went on to say, “I believe that a good trip is accompanied by two things, a good destination and good company. We have a great time together, we have fun, we love each other and we support. That is something very fundamental.”

The pair continued dating for a year and were frequently seen traveling, going out together, and even posting on social media occasionally. The pair split in October 2019, according to People en Español.

Maluma and Winnie Harlow were never a confirmed couple, but dating rumors arose after the singer’s breakup with Barulich. In October 2019, the pair were spotted dancing together at a New York City nightclub and exchanged quite a few flirty, cryptic comments on Instagram, per “Entertainment Tonight.” That same month, the singer and the model went to Latin restaurant Blend in Long Island City with friends, according to Page Six. “They were in a private area,” a source said. That appears to be the extent of it, as nothing else notable was reported.

Speculation that Maluma and Colombian architect and interior designer Susana Gomez were dating started as early as August 2020, when they were seen out in public showing PDA, including holding hands and kissing, per Hola!. Since then, Maluma and Gomez have often been seen in public together and very much appear to be a couple, despite no explicit confirmation coming from either of them.

In December 2021, Maluma posted a since-deleted blurry picture of him embracing a mystery woman by a Christmas tree on Instagram. He captioned the photo, “Gracias santa,” followed by a heart emoji. The woman wasn’t tagged in the picture, but fans speculated that it was Gomez. The romance didn’t stop there. Maluma shared a kiss with Gomez during his 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards performance, too.

The singer and Gomez almost sparked engagement speculation back in January when he jokingly nearly proposed to his girlfriend while celebrating his 29th birthday, according to People. The pair have reached another big relationship milestone, though.

On Oct. 19, Maluma revealed in his “Procura” music video that he and Gomez are expecting their first child together. He debuted the visual during his concert in Washington DC, showing various clips of the couple and their pregnancy journey. The end of the video shows the two wearing matching necklaces that say “Paris” at a gender-reveal party, where clouds of pink smoke emerge. It appears they’re having a baby girl.
