With season three of The Masked Singer having kicked off, fans believe they’ve already uncovered who is behind the mask of the Professor.
Before having us dancing on our feet, the mysterious character gave us a series of clues, revealing they’re “opinionated” and they’re someone who pushes “the boundaries of our reality.”
They’re clearly intelligent and have an interest in science.
“Our mother universe is huge. The possibilities for love are just as big. As-as-as long as we have some faith.”
The Professor said they “like to think outside the square” and “break stereotypes.”
But it was what fans spotted in the short clip that really had their minds buzzing: A rose.
“I have certainly been a bachelor at times in my life. But to me, love is paradise,” they also said.
The panellists guessed Professor Brian Cox, Bobby Cannavale and Waleed Aly, but it seems Jackie O could be on the right path, saying it’s former Bachelor Matt Agnew.
“An astrophysicist, the rose, the looking for love. Too obvious?” she pondered.
While it’s a great guess, fans on Twitter believe it could be Ben Lee, saying the rose is a nod to Rose Byrne, who was Ben’s co-star in The Rage in Placid Lake.
Others thought it was Bachelor Matty J, but he debunked those rumours on his Instagram.
“Unfortunately it’s not me, as much as I would like it to be me, it’s not,” he said.
We wonder who it could be.
