Everyone Who’s Been Publicly Voted Off “Australian Idol” 2023
Off to a fierce start, the “Australian Idol” 2023 live rounds have been intense. And if you’ve been bopping along to the contestants’ renditions of hit songs, you’re already aware of the amount of talent on showcase this year. However, if you haven’t been keeping up, this season has already seen its fair share of ups and downs with undeniably talented performers sadly being sent home. And we’re quite sure that judges, Meghan Trainor, Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark and Harry Connick Jnr have not been making these decisions lightly.
As with all seasons of “Idol”, this year’s Australia-wide auditions kicked off with a range of talented 15-to 28-year-olds battling for a spot on the Top 50. Competitors put their game faces on while audiences basked in their sweet (or not) voices.
Moving from the selection of the Top 50 down to the Top 12, this season has already been an emotional rollercoaster not short of amazing performances. Audiences have witnessed the potential of Josh Hannan in his heartfelt rendition of Joji’s “Glimpse of Us“. And even a performance of smash-hit “Made You Look” by the body-positivity queen herself, Meghan Trainor.
But sadly, only one can be crowned the next “Australian Idol” champion and take home the prize of $100,000 plus a recording contract with Sony Music.
And with Australian voters at the reigns of deciding which contestant gets to live out their superstar dreams over the next few weeks — here’s everyone who went home on “Australian Idol” so far;
Amali Dimond
Ben Sheehy
Anya Hynninen
Noora H
Angelina Curtis
Sash Seabourne
Harry Hayden
Maya Weiss
Jasey Fox
Who will be sent home next? “Australian Idol” continues on Sundays at 7pm only on Channel 7 and 7plus.
