Bursting into song in the middle of a disorderly room that stands as a physical manifestation of your own heartache can be exhausting, but you know Adele looked damn good doing it in her new “Easy On Me” music video. On Oct. 14, Adele dropped her first single in five years, and her oxblood patent leather trench coat in the accompanying black and white video is our new fashion obsession. Custom made by Lanvin, Adele paired the glossy coat with a burnt orange ribbed turtleneck sweater and sepia brown high-waisted wool trousers designed by Lanvin’s Creative Director, Bruno Sialelli.
Sitting, standing, and even shouting out into the wind as her hair whipped back and forth, Adele looked gorgeous from every angle. She accessorised the outfit with a Lanvin agate signet ring, a gold agate necklace, and a razor-sharp oxblood manicure to match her coat. The coat itself likely falls in the USD $3,000 to $4,000 price range, so our dreams of re-creating the music video ourselves for the drama will have to be put on hold. But we can still admire Adele’s fall-inspired outfit from all angles ahead.
