I Wore This $149 Pair of Sandals For a Week Straight — They’re Pure Luxury

You want to look for a few things when shopping for everyday shoes. You want them to be versatile enough to wear with many potential outfits. You want to like them, of course, and not just be trendy buys you tire of after a few months. And, most importantly, you want them to be comfy.

With all that in mind, might I suggest a pair of sandals I have that tick all of those boxes? They’re the Bared Footwear Sanderlings ($149). They’re flat sandals, made with rubber and with a gold-hardware buckle for the ankle strap. They come in seven colours, but I have them in black.

Rubber’s a tricky material for a shoe, in that it can easily slip on the pavement. It can also be uncomfortable, rubbing against your skin, and too casual-looking for a nice event. I can confirm: These sandals do and aren’t any of those things other rubber sandals can be guilty of. But don’t just take my word for it.

“These rubber sandals are amazing, super elevated style with the gold buckle, they don’t even look rubber,” wrote one reviewer online. “Super comfortable for the beach, but equally as good to go out for dinner in them.”
