As part of the big titty committee myself, I am constantly feeling hard done by when it comes to going bra-less and staying perky.
You know that feeling when you love a dress or top, but you just know it would just look so much better with a bra? For people with big boobs, the disappointment is real.
Having tried many boob tapes (that don’t hold my boobs up for very long, or sometimes not at all), uncomfortable strapless bras and nights of going bravely bra-less, I’ve become accustomed to only shopping for things I can wear a bra with.
But I’ve had enough. I want to be able to go bra-less if I want, and show my boobs off to the world in a way that I feel comfortable.
Luckily, I scrolled past this viral boob tape tutorial and discovered something magical.
The girl in the video has boobs about my size, and has perfectly taped them down into a backless, low cut dress with spaghetti straps. At first, I thought it was just a tutorial (and a super good one, too), but then I realised that she was using this product: Boobyful Aid.
Boobyful Aid makes thick boob tapes and nipple covers that are seamless, waterproof, sweat proof and suitable for all breast sizes.
“My business partner and I launched Boobyful Aid in August 2020 during the peak of COVID lockdowns in hopes of uplifting women’s spirits nationally,” says Julie, one of the founders of Boobyful Aid.
“We both grew up feeling very insecure with our breast size but after discovering boob tape, our self-esteem increased. I no longer had the desire to undergo breast enhancement surgery and Diane stopped dreaming of undergoing a breast reduction surgery.”
Together, they designed a boob tape that can lift your boobs up to their best perky selves, without the stress of it coming off with sweat or water, and complete size inclusivity.
I have personally never tried boob tape because as someone with big boobs, I’ve always assumed that it would never hold them up. But I have so many cute unworn outfits in my wardrobe, that really rely on me going bra-less, that I’m keen to wear; and Boobyful Aid is giving me some hope.
With a thriving TikTok account where they demonstrate different ways to tape your boobs depending on their size and the style of the garment, as well as the dos and don’ts of taking boob tape off, they’ve hit a gap in the market that was really due for some attention.
“We are passionate about self-love and want to spread the message for women to feel confident in their own body at every stage of their life and to empower women to flaunt their bodies in their own unique way,” Julie says.
