Cara Delevingne Expertly Poses in Her Thigh-High Slit Dress at the Oscars

Cara Delevingne brought a pop of red to the new champagne carpet at the 2023 Oscars. The model and actor attended the award show on March 12 wearing a crimson ballgown by Elie Saab. Her stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, paired Delevingne’s outfit with satin stilettos by Stuart Weitzman and Bulgari jewelry.

Delevingne’s haute-couture look featured an asymmetrical neck with a single statement sleeve boasting an abstract floral design assembled using bunched ribbons in scarlet. The final effect made Delevingne – one of the many celebrities to rock an updo at the award show – blend in seamlessly with the massive bouquet of roses surrounding the trophy statue nearby.

The luxurious fabric wrapped around Delevingne’s waist before tapering into a layered skirt with a floor-grazing train. The skirt also featured a thigh-high slit on her right side that gave a glimpse at her strappy sandals. She completed the ensemble with a layered Serpenti necklace by Bulgari in white gold, emeralds, and diamonds, as well as matching earrings.

From behind, the gown’s low-cut back gave a sneak peek at Delevingne’s hidden sword tattoo along her neck and back, part of the star’s extensive ink collection. “YEAAAAAAAA BOIIII,” Chrissy Teigen commented on photos of the “Only Murders in the Building” star’s striking look on Zangardi’s Instagram account.
