I’ve long waited for someone to ask me whose wardrobe I would most like to steal, but since no one has (or will, because why would they?), I’ll tell you: it’s Aimee Song‘s. One of the original fashion bloggers, Song’s style is, in my opinion, the perfect mix of comfortable and chic. Combining luxury pieces with more affordable options, her style is just extremely “me”.
So when I saw that Song had collaborated with CHARLES & KEITH for their latest Gabine collection alongside fellow fashion girl, Chriselle Lim, I immediately clicked to check out the range. Between the pair, they have more than 7.4 million Instagram followers, which should be an indication of both the popularity of their fashion curation and, by association, the quality of the CHARLES & KEITH accessories.
CHARLES & KEITH’s Gabine collection was created after the raging success of the saddle bag last season, which sold out not long after its release. And although this collection is designed for autumn and winter, every item has been created in neutral colours and styles that will transition seamlessly through the seasons.
With a classic shape and crossbody strap, the Gabine saddle bag comes in a variety of different textures — natural calfskin leather, faux leather, felt, and quilted — and they each have a distinctive buckle on the front. The collection also includes a small and micro version of the bag in quilted and two-tone designs (I’m personally itching to pick up the classic and micro in steel blue to mimic Song’s styling below), plus loafers, slides, and mule pumps. You can also personalise the Gabine leather saddle bags from the range with hot-stamp initials, for a little something extra.
