Dion Lee Brings Australian Cool-Girl Looks to the NYFW Runway

We can always count on New York-based Australian designer Dion Lee to come through with effortlessly badass looks, and his NYFW runway did not disappoint.

Dion Lee is known as a fave among key it-girl celebrities, such as Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Cara Delevingne. So it should come as no surprise that Dion Lee’s NYFW show —an empty floor in a Hudson Yards building with a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline — hosted a lineup of influencers, models and celebrities, all in full head-to-toe looks by the brand.

Dion Lee masters the art of androgyny in a way that is timeless and inclusive.

Using classic material pairings of mesh, silk, and leather, the designer plays with different lengths, textures, and sizing to give a tough but feminine silhouette that is uniquely gender neutral.
