Dua Lipa Dipped Into the Versace Vault For Her Grammys Look

Dua Lipa took the thigh-high slit to a new level at the Grammys on Sunday. Pulling her look straight from Versace’s 1992 vault, the “Love Again” singer stepped onto the red carpet in a fitted corset dress with a mesh bodice that clung to her body with the help of a dozen belt buckles embellished in gold. Hitting just below her feet, the floor-length dress draped past her strappy black heels, revealing a sky-high slit along the back. Lipa’s dress also featured a plunging back cutout accentuated by a criss-cross belt pattern across her shoulder blades. She styled the look with silver cuff earrings, gold stacked bracelets, and a layered gold chain necklace complete with multiple matching pendants.

Later in the evening, Lipa had a matching moment onstage with Megan Thee Stallion and Donatella Versace while presenting the nominees for best new artist. Lipa has been a longtime Versace enthusiast, frequently reaching for the designer whenever she wants to get a little daring with her red carpet looks. In previous years, she attended the Grammys in an Atelier Versace ballgown and a sheer Versace dress with a butterfly print, but this might be among our favourite Grammys look she’s worn yet. Some of Lipa’s fellow musicians also delivered bold style moments at the ceremony, including Billie Eilish in a Rick Owens trench coat, H.E.R. in a bright-yellow jumpsuit in honour of Aretha Franklin, and Chloë in a metallic disco-ball dress by Valentino.
