Lady Gaga’s ensembles for the House of Gucci press tour have been nothing short of spectacular. It started off in London with that incredible purple Gucci cape dress (how could we forget!), followed by a leopard-print maxi dress and a red Versace corset gown in Milan. Always keeping us on our toes, Gaga went even sexier for the New York premiere with an Armani Privé gown that featured a completely sheer polka-dot halter top connected to a skintight velvet skirt. And just when we thought we couldn’t be any more bowled over by her fashion choices, she stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere in the most dazzling strapless Valentino dress.
Part of Valentino’s spring 2021 Code Temporal haute couture collection and designed by the brand’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, the floor-length dress was entirely embroidered with iridescent silver sequins, which shifted between silver and gold under the lights on the red carpet. The front of the strapless dress featured a square neckline with gathered details at the bust that gave the gown major Grecian vibes, whilst the back featured a long train that cascaded down from the middle of her back.
Gaga’s stylist Sandra Amador paired the shimmering gown with equally as shimmering jewellery from Messika Paris, including long chandelier earrings and a matching diamond necklace, which were on full display thanks to the fact Gaga wore her hair in a sleek, chin-grazing bob for the occasion. As for her makeup, makeup artist Sarah Tanno-Stewart mimicked the multifaceted tones of the Valentino dress on Gaga’s lids, creating gold and black wings that only added to the overall drama of the entire look.
