Inclusive Footwear Is Important, Here Are 3 Australian Brands That Kill It

Shoes are a pretty damn important element to any outfit. They have the power to make (or break) a look; elevating something simple into something breathtaking.

Despite their importance, though, shoes often get forgotten about in the evolving world of diverse fashion.

Inclusivity in fashion tends to focus more on different body shapes and types. When bodies became more diverse in fashion, it was the first clear towards inclusivity and representation. But now that diverse bodies are becoming a norm (thank god!), it’s time we address other areas lacking in diversity.

Our foot size and shape are directly related to our bodies. For example, curvy babes have wider feet and legs, which can make it difficult to shop for strappy heels or thigh-high boots. This also applies to height too; tall babes also often have wider or larger feet, which can be seriously tricky to shop for.

Fortunately, some pretty fabulous Australian brands have recently stepped up to the plate.

Here are 3 Australian brands that design beautiful inclusive footwear, so you can truly express yourself through your every outfit and revel in the joy that comes with putting on a good pair of shoes.

Billini
