Outfitting Team USA in every Olympic Games since 2008, Ralph Lauren has announced the newest closing-ceremony outfits to be worn by Olympians and Paralympians in Beijing. The outfits consist of a knit beanie, woven pants, leggings, a wool sweater, a long-sleeve shirt, a down jacket, socks, and gloves.
Continuing its journey to creating more sustainable fashion, Ralph Lauren announced in a press release that the closing-ceremony buffalo-plaid puffer jacket is made with recycled polyester and down, while the fleece pant, legging, gloves, and boots are made with recycled polyester. Also, the turtleneck sweater and knit hat are made from Responsible Wool Standard-certified US-grown wool.
