What Do Trader Joe's Organic Oatmeal Cups Look Like Inside and How Do They Taste?

Here’s what the Organic Classic Oatmeal Cup looks like when you peel off the lid. If you look closely, you’ll see whole flax seeds and tiny chia seeds. To be honest, I was hoping to see more, but you can always add more if you want.

Since this oatmeal is unsweetened, it tastes just how you’d expect – very plain with a tiny bit of texture from the seeds. The Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cup also tastes just as you’d expect – sweet with a subtle maple flavor.

Both cups tasted great with some healthy additions. I added fresh raspberries, slivered almonds, and cinnamon, but you could add other seeds, nuts or nut butter, fresh, frozen, or dried fruit, shredded coconut, protein powder, or a few chocolate chips.
