There are three new games coming to PlayStation Plus this month, including the space Dwarf mining co-op Deep Rock Galactic. PlayStation Plus members can download the new games from now until February 1, so it’s perfect timing if you’ve already burned through everything you bought in the Christmas sales.
Here, we’ve rounded up all the new games PlayStation Plus members can enjoy in January. Of course, you’ll need to pay for PlayStation Plus to get access, but your membership will get you other free games throughout the year and the ability to play online.
Deep Rock Galactic (PS4 and PS5)
You and up to three friends play as a crew of Dwarves mining alien planets for precious resources. The caves you explore are procedurally-generated and feature fully-destructible environments, so you can drill and blast in any direction and find something worth bringing home to sell. You’ll have to work together to traverse the caves and fight off hordes of alien monsters, all the while listening to the Dwarves’ banter and jokes. It’s a unique and very fun co-op game, and you’ll find yourself asking “One more cave?” quite often.
Persona 5 Strikers (PS4)
Jump into the stylish world of Persona in an all-new story set five months after the events of Persona 5. Strikers feature a mix of real-time and turn-based combat as Joker and the rest of the Phantom Thieves embark on an epic road trip across Japan that takes a turn towards the supernatural.
Dirt 5 (PS4 and PS5)
Conquer epic off-road racing tracks in rally cars, buggies, rock hoppers, trucks and more. Dirt 5 will take you around the world to race iconic cars like the Ford Mustang GT, Porsche 911, BMW M1 and Mitsubishi Lancer — there are over 70 routes across 10 global locations like New York’s frozen East River and underneath the Northern Lights in Norway. You can even customise the look of every car in the game.
