The first DLC for “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” is coming to Nintendo Switch later in 2023. The DLC, titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero”, will be split into two parts, with part one coming out in Australia in autumn 2023 and part two expected to release in winter 2023.
In part one, “The Teal Mask”, you’ll visit the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip. Part two, “The Indigo Disk”, takes you to a new region outside Paldea while you study as an exchange student at Blueberry Academy.
That means there’ll be loads of new Pokémon to meet, including the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon and Terapagos. But perhaps even more exciting is the return of classic Pokémon like Ninetales, Meowstic, and Vulpix. In total, the DLC will add 230 Pokémon on top of the 400 from “Scarlet and Violet”.
