We’re going to see more of Splatoon 3 this week during a dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation. Similar to last week’s Pokémon Presents stream, the Splatoon 3 Nintendo Direct will run for about 30 minutes on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel.
The Splatoon 3 release date is September 9, and pre-orders are now live. The Nintendo Store has the cheapest price at $59.99, but if you want a physical edition you can get that from Big W and Amazon for $69. Check out the complete pre-order guide here.
So far, we know there are new maps and weapons coming, a new single-player story campaign and a new iteration of the immensely popular Salmon Run co-op mode. We also know Nintendo is releasing a special-edition Splatoon Switch OLED to celebrate the game’s launch, which you can pre-order here.
We can’t wait to see what else Nintendo announces during the presentation! Here’s where, when and how to watch the Splatoon 3 Nintendo Direct in Australia.
